禅宗のお寺で食事の時間などを知らせたり、食事のメニューを声を出して、知らせる役目をする僧で下記の面のような、少年、童子がその任にあたり喝食行者(かっしきあんじゃ)と呼ばれその少年の顔を面にしたもので、特に額に銀杏(いちょう)の葉型の前髪を書いた半僧半俗の少年の面。
前髪の大きさにより大喝食、中喝食、小喝食などの種類があります。

A monk who serves as a priest at the temple of Zen Buddhism and informs of meal times and aloud the menu of meals. Boys and children, such as the ones listed below, are called apprentices.

This is a Noh mask with the boy's face as a motif.
In particular, it refers to the face of a half-monk / semi-boy who wrote a ginkgo leaf-shaped bangs on his forehead.
Depending on the size of the bangs, there are various types such as Dai-kassiki
(large),Tyu-kassiki(middle),Sho-kassiki(small).
