Kinryuzan Sensoji Temple in Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo, was extremely busy. However, here, the busy daytime scene is avoided in favor of a midnight scene of the temple grounds with a full moon hanging in the sky. The full view of the soaring five-story pagoda is depicted with skillful use of light and dark, a technique unique to Kouitsu.
