Nezu Shrine is located in Nezu, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, and was built in 1706 as the birthplace of the sixth Tokugawa shogun, Ienobu Tokugawa. The light from the street lamps gently shines on the woman with a snake's-eye umbrella, giving her a warm feeling even on a cold winter night.

根津神社は文京区根津にあって徳川六代将軍家宣の産土神として宝永３年（1706年）にその社殿が造営された。蛇の目傘をさした婦人を街燈の光がやさしく照らし出し、寒い冬の夜なのに暖かささえ感じさせます。
