“Magojiro” is a representative woman mask by Kongo-ryu. It is said that Kongo Ukyo Kyuji, who is connected to the ancestor of the Kongo school (Kongou Hisatsugu, popular name, Magojiro, who was said to have been active in the late Muromachi period), made the mask of his wife who died young.
This mask is reported as “Omokage”, but it has been called “Magojiro” from the author's name to today.
